So, here we are about 2 1/2 weeks away from boarding our plane! This is Scot's first trip overseas and my second, so we are both SUPER excited about this journey. :) Thus far we have been preparing like mad: making copies of legal documents, doing trial-packing runs in our big backpacks (I got my brand new 65L Osprey at R.E.I. about a month ago), prepping the things we are leaving behind for long-term storage... Lots going on.
I've been thinking that a non-social networking site profile would be good to create for those of you I know who don't care for MySpace/Facebook/Whatever or don't have your own accounts to read up on what's going on with me. So I'm thinking a neutral blog like this one will be more universal, plus I can post pictures more easily on this as well.
At the moment, I've gotta run to catch up with a friend over coffee (been doing that a lot lately as I'm getting ready to move overseas), so I will post again soon!
